Vapour Compression Refrigeration Trainer

The vapor compression refrigeration trainer is designed to analyze the performance of Vapor Compression Refrigeration Cycle. The trainer consists of a hermetically sealed compressor, air-cooled condenser, expansion device and coiled evaporator. The evaporator coil is immersed in a water tank fitted with the electric heater. The heater load is controlled by a dimmer. CFC Free refrigerant R134a is used in the trainer.
The measuring instruments are provided to measure Temperature and pressure of refrigerant cycle, Refrigerant Flow, Power Supplied to compressor and Heater Load.
