Heat Pump Trainer

The Heat Pump Trainer is designed to study the working of Heat Pump and analyze the performance of Vapor Compression Refrigeration Cycle. The trainer consists of a hermetically sealed compressor, Water Cooled Condenser, expansion device and water evaporator. CFC Free refrigerant R134a is used in the trainer.
The measuring instruments are provided to measure Temperature and pressure of refrigerant cycle, Refrigerant Flow, Water Flow Rate and Power Supplied to the compressor.

• Demonstration of Heat Pump Cycle.
• Calculation of coefficient of performance of Refrigeration and Heating Cycle.
• Plotting Pressure-Enthalpy Diagram
